Soul
loss frequently occurs in children who are overwhelmed by an abusive
parent or adult. A soul part will go into hiding in the astral and
stay there into adulthood, (even into death and the next lifetime
unless recovered), refusing to return unless it can be truthfully
reassured that life is now different, and the soul will be protected.
This is typical of the trauma of childhood sexual abuse.
Soul
loss can occur when someone is forced to leave their homeland during
war, leaving a part behind. The result can be grief, depression
or illness that is difficult to heal without first retrieving the
part "left behind".
